My Experience
Apprenticed under my father Richard Hiorns (40+ years experience) from 1999-2000. My father is still tuning pianos in the Wausau area. I am located in Madison.
Joined the Piano Technicians Guild, 2000.
Graduated from North Bennet Street School (Boston, MA) in Advanced Piano Technology, June 2001.
Became a Registered Piano Technician (RPT), April 2003.
Employed at a reputable piano rebuilding shop in Madison, WI, July 2001 to August 2007.
Self Employed August 2007.
